Thin shells, big change

Veneers are shells that fit over the front of a tooth to change their appearance. The tooth-colored shells bond to your teeth and can change their length, size, color, and shape.

Reasons for porcelain veneers

Veneers are very thin pieces of durable, tooth-shaped porcelain that are custom made (for shape and color) by a professional dental laboratory. They are bonded onto the front of teeth to create a beautiful and attractive smile. Veneers can completely reshape your teeth and smile, and can often be alternatives to crowns.

What to expect

Veneers usually take two visits, with little or no anesthesia. At the first, we lightly buff and shape the teeth to make room for the veneers, take an impression, and choose the shade together.

At the second, the teeth are cleansed with special liquids for a durable bond. Bonding cement is placed between tooth and veneer, then set with a special light.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are veneers permanent?
